ABC of Wisconsin was awarded three membership awards and the Apprenticeship team won three training awards along with four best practice awards, at the Leadership Development Conference held March 2-6, 2015 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
ABC of Wisconsin received recognition for 90% retention, Growth and Goal. Only 5 chapters were able to do this with ABC of Wisconsin being the largest. ABC of Wisconsin is the largest chapter in the association for 2015. By being the largest chapter it is more difficult to achieve those three levels. ABC of Wisconsin was also the top Over 500 members chapter for retention and the only one with 90% retention.
The ABC of Wisconsin Training Team was also the recipient of three awards of Excellence & Merit at the event. Wisconsin won an Excellence award for Workforce Development for the Apprenticeship Marketing Video and two Merit awards in Safety & Health for the Apprenticeship Safety Workbook and in the Construction Career Awareness for our simulator program. They also were the recipients of four Best Practices awards. They were; Construction Industry Careers Booklet, New Apprenticeship Orientation, Safety Workbook and the Apprenticeship Marketing Video.
This was an impressing display of hard work and dedication by your ABC of Wisconsin staff! ABC of Wisconsin members can be proud of their chapter and their staff!
