Vista West

Vista West Senior Living is a senior living community built by Stevens Construction Corp. on Madison’s growing west side. The campus offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments amidst this active community. It provides a desirable modern senior living option with design features that support aging in place. Vista West is a 269,039-square-foot building with 144 senior living apartments, 30 memory care units, central common and activity spaces, and underground parking. It includes underground parking with post-tension slabs at first and second floors, non-combustible metal framing construction between post-tension slabs and four stories of wood framing on-top the post-tension slab. The community was thoughtfully integrated into a mixed use, walkable area, bordered by a high school, affordable housing, condominiums, as well as retail and corporate businesses. Approximately 30% of the project was completed with self-performed labor, including building post-tension concrete work, window installation, wood framing, and all finish carpentry.
