UW-Whitewater’s vision for the future of their top two athletic programs came to fruition with the completion of the university’s Baseball Training Center and Football Training Facility. Improvements to both facilities by Gilbank Construction, Inc., included an enhanced athletic training facility for rehabilitation services and proactive treatment, as well as academic enhancements including the addition of classrooms and study areas. Both projects had limited access due to proximity of the playing fields for UW-Whitewater athletics. Bi-weekly meetings were necessary to accommodate campus and owner/sub-contractor activities. Site constraints, weather and significant changes in scope added to the complexity of the project.
