This attractive new retail and production facility in Waunakee was completed and delivered under budget, despite the loss of a wall panel supplier, extensive rains and challenges of a global pandemic. Trending Now Promotions’ new 8,075-square-foot facility more than doubled the retail and production space. The building features extensive glass and masonry on the building facade. Friede & Associates broke ground on the project a mere three months after being brought into the project. The contractor offered extensive value engineering options to allow for future expansion and the team worked with the owner’s financial institution to quickly pull together specifications and updated drawings for a Small Business Administration loan. Once it was learned the wall panel supplier was not going to be an option, the contractor’s own carpentry crews handled all carpentry. The attractive one-story wood frame building was completed in just five months.
