The approval of a $9.5 million referendum allowed Kraemer Brothers to lead the River Ridge School District in consolidating onto a single campus, creating operating efficiencies for the school and community. The project included a 29,000-square-foot middle school addition and renovations totaling 107,000 square feet,including major mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades. After overcoming several failed referenda attempts, the team faced poor soils at the building site, which created unforeseen challenges as construction began. Despite the challenges, the project was completed on budget and ahead of schedule.
