CCI converted a 1920’s professional building and meticulously transformed it into an award-winning, 41,000 square foot boutique hotel with roof-top terrace and elegant restaurant. Four levels were originally constructed with fragile terracotta materials, were completely gutted and now feature modern and historical décor. There are 35 hotel rooms, a rooftop terrace event space with movable glass walls, fitness center, as well as a 3,500 square-foot restaurant with full commercial kitchen, custom bar, and additional outdoor dining capabilities. The adaptive reuse project required flexibility and superior contracting skills to overcome unexpected obstacles such as a high water table and seven-month completion deadline.
