Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve – Environmental Center and Microgrid

Faith Technologies spearheaded development of a new, state-of-the-art, 18,000-square-foot environmental center for Bubolz Nature Preserve, using the energy system of the future. It includes an advanced microgrid for clean energy power, minimizing operating costs, increasing educational opportunities and advancing environmentalism. Utilizing solar energy, battery storage, hydrogen generation and storage, and natural gas, the microgrid can operate independent of the traditional energy grid. The project included a 1,300-square-foot Immersion Building, used as an educational tool to demonstrate energy usage to visitors.
