Delta Dental of WI: New Corporate Headquarters Office

The new Delta Dental of Wisconsin Corporate Headquarters is a 126,000 square-foot facility including a three story atrium, office space, full kitchen and cafeteria, multiple conference rooms, boardroom, fitness center, employee game room, underground parking structure, and a terraced pond overlook. The design focused on the employees and their work environment. Construction took 19 months and consisted of two Wisconsin winters, more than fifty contractors, and varying economic challenges. The project started later than expected, which gave the contractors plenty of time to prepare for the path ahead. Economic challenges and lead time concerns arrived early in the project and delays in materials slowed the overall schedule slightly. The building was erected in a phased approach, as the east wing was built first, followed by the center atrium, and then finally the west wing, with overlap being crucial for integration and completion. With its sheer size, gentle curved uniqueness and sheer presence, the Delta Dental of Wisconsin Headquarters is now a landmark in Stevens Point.
