Certification Levels:
Concrete Flatwork Associate: This person demonstrates knowledge of proper procedures to place\, consolidate\, finish\, edge\, joint\, cure\, and protect concrete flatwork. *
Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher: is a craftsman who demonstrates knowledge of proper procedures to place\, consolidate\, finish\, edge\, joint\, cure\, and protect concrete flatwork; requires a minimum of three years of 4\,500 hours or more work experience in finishing concrete flatwork. *
*Both certifications require a passing grade of at least 70% on the written exam.

- Planning for slab on ground mixtures
- Concrete materials\, mixture proportioning\, and control tests
- Floor flatness and levelness
- Placing equipment and finishing tools
- Jointing
- Concrete curing and protection
- Finishing problems and possible solutions
